Oh good god. Dan and I were just playing 90's trival persuit with my parents. Dan and I were on one team and my parents were playing against us. Anyways, so this question comes out that says, "what religious figure designated six year old Gedhun Choekyi Nyima as his eventual successor?" I knew right away that it was the dalai lama, but for some reason, I couldn't think of his name. So I'm trying to describe him to Dan so he can help me out. So I say it's a man, who's reincarnated, he wears a robe and he has dark skin... religious figure. Dan's response is, "Spawn?" I don't think I stopped laughing for several minutes. It was hilarious.

      What else did I do today... well, I went shopping in the morning for Kayley's birthday, which is coming up on Friday. I was going to go see 'Shaun of the dead,' (woohoo!) with E-ran aka James, but he was busy doing something else... so maybe we can do it next weekend. E-ran aka James came and saw me at work. He was looking oh so sexy-licious, but I restrained myself. Uhhh, oh right, so I told him about this story I read in the Times a few weeks ago about this student at UVic who was drunk and punched a rabbit in the face and was facing charges for causing an animal to suffer. E-ran aka James doesn't like the rabbits there very much.

      Anyhow, I have two days off now, and I get to go into Bluenotes on Tuesday to get started! Woohoo! I want to go snowboarding SO incredibly bad. I also want a guitar... I also need to put gas in my car. Um yea. I'm not too good with money. So, my snowboarding buddies so far are Dan, Joel, E-ran, Geoff, and Alex. I need more people... although I do quite enjoy going by myself because then I don't have to wait around, (hehehe) then again, I'm not paying that much for gas EVERY weekend. And believe me, I'll be up there... EVERY weekend.
